AGACSE 2024
Venue and Transporation
The venue is the Doelenzaal at Singel 425, which is part of the University of Amsterdam Library and situated in central Amsterdam (UNESCO World Heritage 1349). We used the same location for AGACSE 2010. It is easily reached by public transportation.
- • You can travel by train from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport to Amsterdam Central Station, simply electronically checking in (and out!) with a debit card, no need to purchase tickets. Here is the link to that info, and to the train schedule. Trains typically run every 15 minutes.
- • Similarly, your debit card can be used to check in (and out!) on the city buses, trams and metro But there are multi-day tickets which may be interesting to accompanying persons, see info site of Amsterdam public transportation system GVB.
- • Tram 2 and 12 stop Koningsplein is right in front of the venue.
- • Metro M52 stop Rokin is a 5 minute walk (when you take the south exit from that station, follow signs to Spui; enjoy the archaeological display on the escalator!)
- • From locations farther away, consult Google Maps for Singel 425, Amsterdam for those tram/metro stops.
- X marks the spot!
