Teaching

I teach courses to students in Biology in both the bachelor and the master phase. In addition, I regularly teach advanced courses for PhD students. The topics of these course range from population ecology, theoretical biology, mathematical modeling of population dynamics, population biology to food web and community ecology.

Theoretical Biology

This is an introductory course in mathematical modeling. The course is intended for biology students in their second year as undergraduate. The aim of the course is to teach students how to formulate, analyze and draw conclusions from mathematical models and apply these models to problems in population biology. You can download the entire course reader as a PDF file. However, if you intend to use the reader for teaching purpose, I would appreciate if you could let me know and could give me your feedback on its contents.
