What/Where/When/Who:

One afternoon (3 lectures of 40 minutes each) tutorial on nonlinear diffusion in computer vision.

Monday September 3, 14:00-16:30

These lectures are almost a duplication of the lectures presented at the ASCI Scale-Space course.

Lecturer is R. v.d. Boomgaard.

Lectures are held in room F0.14, Kruislaan 403, 1098 SJ Amsterdam. A date for this course has not been set. If you would like to join the course fill in the form.

This (mini) course is meant for PhD students and others interested in practical applications of modern theory in computer vision and image processing.

A basic understanding of image processing is required (Gaussian convolutions, partial derivatives etc). For those whose knowledge on linear scale-space faded away a bit: we start with a very short overview on that subject.
