Registration and Accommodation
Registration will be handled by our Conference Bureau, lodging you are expected to arrange yourself.

The registration fee varies according to the date of payment and status, according to the table below.

'Staff exception' refers to regular participants from developing countries (as defined in this UN document), retirees or the unemployed.

The registration includes coffee, tea, lunches, and the welcome reception boat tour on Tuesday evening. The conference dinner on Wednesday night is separate, €50 per person.

- • You are expected to arrange your own accomodation.
- We advise booking early since August is a very busy time in Amsterdam and hotels fill up early on.
- Amsterdam houses many hotel chains such as NH Hotels, Radisson, Motel ONE or IBIS and NOVOTEL hotels. You may also be interested in the experience of Skotel, a (3 star hotel) of a hotel management school.
- Obviously, pooled information can be found on platforms like booking.com for best deals based on your travel dates (although it is often worth checking the aggregator’s rates with the hotel’s own rates before finalising your booking).
- Amsterdam is expensive, but you may be able to find budget options away from the center; the venue is easy to reach by public transportation, it is on the Noord/Zuid (North/South) Metro line M52, see maps.
- The pleasant old city of Haarlem is only 15 minutes away from Amsterdam Central Station, by trains leaving every 10 minutes (then walk 15 minutes or take metro or tram to the venue). It is likely to offer you more attractively priced lodging than Amsterdam.
