The last weeks the course is dedicated to experimentation.
Go, where no one has gone before.
This time it is not the result that counts, but your report of your technical efforts. Document your design decisions and experiments on a technical report, so that we can estimate e.g.:
- Technical difficulty
- Experimental skills
- Scientific rigor
- Community impact
Here are some ideas of things 'never done before'.
- Inspired by the article Dancing Humanoid Robots: download the human motion capture database from the hip-hop dance and replicate some the moves with a Nao robot.
- Navigate with a Hydrofoil drone.
- Think of a good payload for cargo drone.
- Use a race drone for a challenge of the Autonomous Driving competition.
- Make your Nao robot aware when to put up his umbrella with ansi weather interface.
- Clean the house with the Lego Mindstorm EV3
- Make the Nao robot recognize numbers
- Feed the Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Studio with @Home dataset
- Recognize fruit with a DepthSense 525.
- Drive BB-8 through the Jakka desert.
