I am broadly interested in the use of machine learning and big data analytics to understand different attack vectors (social and technical) in computing systems such as Blockchains. This puts my research and teaching interests at the broad intersection of machine learning and socio-technical cybersecurity.
I recently graduted with a Ph.D. from the Irish Software Research Centre where my dissertation focused on better understanding the complicity that social factors such as economies and supply/demand induce in the security assessment of complicated sociology-technical assets such as Blockchain. My research output has appeared in peer-reviewed journals like Computers & Security, Information Processing and Management, and Frontiers in Blockchain. Most of my research is generously funded by the Irish Software Research Centre via the Science Foundation of Ireland.
