with Broken Time-Reversal Symmetry

Abstract

An ultrasonic chaotic cavity with time-reversal symmetry broken in a controlled way (by feedback loop) has been studied with time-reversal method. Time-reversal experiments were conducted using single source and single receiver coupled to the surface of the cavity. Statistics of the cavity resonances has been calculated for different degree of time reversal symmetry breaking.
