I moved to Barcelona the first week of September for a 3 month internship at Yahoo! Barcelona. I’m very excited about it, and looking forward to getting to know the people here and the problems they are working on. I think it will be an extremely valuable experience for my current and future work!

I work at ILPS, University of Amsterdam. My research revolves around mining social media, tracking content, and predicting user behavior. My interests lie in the field of Information Retrieval, and query modeling, but also in predictive analytics, and recommender systems (with a touch of Physics whenever possible).
