The probing software documentation is divided into three parts:
The user manual which explains how to use and interact with the probing and probingUI software in the CAVE environment. It shows how the probingUI menu works, how to do measurements, how to make snapshots.
The developer manual which explains how to use the probing and probingUI APIs to add probing functionality to your own CAVE software. This part is mainly concerned with the probing function calls. It also explains the fileformats used by the probing software.
The maintainer/extender manual which explains how to extend the probing software or make changes to it. This documents the internal architecture of software and also gives some examples/hints how to implement new features.
