Welcome to the homepage of Roland van der Veen,  PhD student mathematics in

the research group of prof. dr. Eric Opdam at the KdV Institute, University of Amsterdam

and the Dutch cluster Geometry and Quantum Theory.   email: R.I.vanderVeen (at) uva (dot) nl

Research:

Low dimensional topology and representation theory.
More specifically I'm looking at the relations between quantum knot invariants and the geometry of the knot complement.
Currently I'm working on the the volume conjecture.
