  • Since November 2008, I am an independent research fellow at the ILLC, University of Amsterdam, with a 3-year VENI grant from the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO).
  • Before moving to Amsterdam, I spent one year at the CSLI, Stanford University, working as a research fellow in the Computational Semantics Lab.
  • In 2006 and 2007 I was a postdoc Marie Curie fellow within the EU-funded project DEAWU at the University of Potsdam (Germany).
  • I moved to London in 2001 and spent over 4 years at King's College London, where I worked as a research associate in the Computer Science Department. While at King's, I wrote my PhD thesis under Jonathan Ginzburg's supervision.
  • Before that, from 1998 to 2000, I took a Master in Cognitive Science and Language in Barcelona, my home city.
