I am Mischa Sallé, born December 31, 1973 in Amsterdam.
I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis on December 3, 2002 in the ``Aula'' of the University of Amsterdam (the Old Lutheran Church), Singel 411 (on the corner with Spui), worked for two years, from 1st of October 2002 till 1st of October 2004 as a postdoc at the University of Helsinki and since 1st of December 2004 as a postdoc at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. For links see my homepage there.
I had been working since February 1, 1998 as a Ph.D. Student
(FOM OiO) in the group of
Prof. Jan Smit, my supervisor,
at the
Institute for Theoretical
Physics, which is part of the
Faculty of Science of the
University of Amsterdam.
Other members of the group are
Dr. Jonivar Skullerud and
Anders Tranberg.
There is also interaction with
Prof. Chris van Weert and
Alejandro Arrizabalaga,
working in the topic of
Thermal Field
Theory, with applications in the Early Universe and heavy ion collisions.
I got my master's degree on December 15, 1997 at the same institute under
supervision of Prof. Sander Bais.
