I am presently working as Researcher/Scientific Coordinator at the Max-Planck
Institut in Bonn. I live
next to the Godesburg in Bonn Bad Godesberg. For a live webcam view

From July 2000-March 2004 I worked in the group of Prof. Eric Opdam at the University of Amsterdam.
My greatest interest is in number theoretical problems requiring both
algebraic and analytic number theory for their resolution.
An example is provided by density problems in connection with prime
divisors of sequences and the Artin primitive root conjecure.
One of my more recent mathematical interests is in L-functions and Random
Matrix Theory and computational (prime) number theory.
For some preprints on this, see the homepage
of the American Institute of Mathematics.
My site only deals with my professional activities since July 1, 2000.
If you are interested in my earlier affiliations and publications clicking
here
will get you to my old homepage, which is also where you end up on clicking
`Selected publications and preprints before 07-2000' below.
My complete
list
of publications is also available (in postscript format).
