A picture of me:

I am Palestinian, born and raised in Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a city of contradictions; a city that allows one to adopt, or free, any other. From Jerusalem I keep a few almonds in my pocket; from Haifa, always some sand in my shoes. In Sofia I leave a Martenitsa hanging on a tree. From Amsterdam, I keep a reflection of lights, and from Boston an Indian Autumn.

They say home is where the heart is; but as I try to carry my heart with me, home remains surrounded by a garden – it’s where my parents currently live with my brother and sister in Haifa, on the Mediterranean.

In the best of possible worlds, I tango in the evenings and in the summers I wind surf.
