I am a Ph.D. promovenda at the University of Amsterdam. My project is jointly funded by the ACLC (Amsterdam Center for Language and Communication) and the ILLC (Institute for Language, Logic and Computation) as part of the Crosslinguistic Semantics Group. My promoters are Prof. Dr. Frank Veltman and Prof. Dr. Josep Quer.

My Dissertation explores the expression of counterfactuality crosslinguistically both from a syntax-semantics perspective – focusing on the interaction between tense, aspect, mood and modality – and from a semantic-pragmatic perspective –
focusing on the presuppositions and implicatures of counterfactual conditionals in a dynamic framework.
