Black Hole Solutions of String Effective Action

In this chapter we present the black hole solutions we found. The solution generating techniques discussed in the previous chapter will turn out to be very usefull, because only in a few cases the equations of motion can be solved. To introduce a Modulus field we'll perform a Lorentz boost in the fifth dimension and to obtain a non-trivial Axion field we'll use the SL(2,R) transformations. Properties of these solutions will be discussed and special attention is given to the extremal solutions.
