Dr. Geleyn Roelof Meijer (1960) is Group Innovation Director for LogicaCMG, responsible for the company’s innovation policy and project involvement. He coordinates the activities across the group and assures LogicaCMG’s active participation in strategic and business developments with clients and alliance partners.

He is member of the advisory council of the Dutch ICT-authority, aimed to develop a national ICT research and innovation strategy. www.ictregie.nl

In 2001 Geleyn initiated the creation of LogicaCMG Unwired Concepts, an innovation centre on mobile business applications, combining novel technologies, business practise and marketing creativity. He led the development of a Mobile tickets service for public transport for which his team received the Computer World Honours Award Nomination in 2003.

He has extensive scientific and managerial experience in national and international projects and is involved in European 6th and 7th framework programme activities.

He is associate professor at the University of Amsterdam and guest lecturer at TU Delft and Erasmus University. He publishes regularly and is speaker on various conferences and in expert panels.
