Coalgebra day

The Algebra & Coalgebra group at The Institute for Logic, language and Computation is organizing a sequel to the successful Dutch Coalgebra Days that took place in previous years (the last one was at the CWI, Amsterdam on the 2nd March 2009).

What is it?

The Coalgebra Day is an informal one-day meeting on topics related to the theory of coalgebras. We will have talks from the two invited speakers and from people attending the event. Participation is free for everyone, and there is no registration fee. Lunch and drinks will be offered to the participants and a dinner has been organized.

Participants and abstracts

Dates

The meeting will be on March 3, 2010. For practical reasons, please let us know in advance if you plan to attend, and whether you would like to give a talk (+/- 30 min.), by sending an e-mail to Raul or Vincenzo before the 19th of February.

Where

The meeting takes place in room A.106, at the Faculty of Science of the University of Amsterdam, in the Science Park. Click here to learn how to reach the building.

Coffee breaks are on the ground floor of the same building. Drinks will be at the Cafe Polder, just outside of the building.

There will be an organised dinner after the workshop at "Bazar Amsterdam" (Click here and take a look at their delicious menu!). The diner is not included, but you are all welcome to join us.
