information access, in particular access across languages. Topics of
interest to me are:
- Cross-Language Information Retrieval
- Statistical Machine Translation
- Data Mining for Natural Language Processing

News - The seventh Workshop on Statistical Machine
Translation (WMT 2012) will be held together with NAACL in Montreal,
Canada. More info is available here.
- New project on
Domain and Genre-Independent Translation (DIGIT). This project will
fund a PhD position for 4 years. Watch this space for more details
