My main research interests involve the organization and retrieval of information. I have been involved in projects concerning focussed access to text documents, and semantic information integration.

Bio: Caterina Caracciolo is currently senior information specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Before that she worked at the National Council of Research (CNR) in Pisa, and before that she was doing her PhD at the University of Amsterdam. She is currently involved in the Netowrked Ontology project (NeOn).
