A Qualitative Model of the Greenhouse Effect

Samenvatting

Goal of this research is the development of a qualitative model of the Greenhouse Effect. Qualitative models are seen as an effective way to articulate and communicate knowledge in the field of education. Qualitative Reasoning is traditionally associated with the domain of physics. To promote the widespread use of qualitative models in education, more models of domains other then physics are needed. This research presents a qualitative model that represents and simulates a number of domain phenomena as is taught to students in an introductory course.
