About the Virtual Banana Shop
Why not? There are so many shops along the Internet Super-Hypeway.
Every one started because it was thought it would fill the gap in the market.
Most of them did not succeed, because of logistics. How do we get the product
to the customer, and how do we make sure we get paid?
The answer to this is simple. Deal with it virtually.
The shop was established in December, 1997.
At first, we had problems with our stock. In fact, we had no stock at all.
These problems were only solved by January, 2000.
At this time the virtual banana's were free of charge.
By March, we started to charge the virtual equivalent of 1 US-dollar.
The order-form the customers fill in is queued.
At certain times a day the order-handler is set to work.
The order-handler virtually send the order to the customer, and updates
the database.
To keep track of the orders and payments we have a backoffice that is
operated by The Virtual Banana Shopkeeper.

The customers have been blackened, because of privacy reasons.
