We are organizing a 3-day Workshop on Abelian Varieties, to be held at the University of Amsterdam, May 29-30-31, 2006.

All the lectures will take place in "De Oudemanhuispoort", a university building in the center of Amsterdam. The address is: Oudezijds Achterburgwal 211-225, 1012 DL Amsterdam. The room is: C 217 (third floor). It is walking distance from Central Station (10 minutes), Waterlooplein (subway station; 5 minutes). There are also numerous streetcars (4, 9, 16, 24, 25) from the Central Station that pass through Rokin. Get out at the Rokin. For a map, click here.


Participants are supposed to arrange their own accomodation. We recommend that you do so as soon as possible, as the end of May is usually a busy period (May 25 is Ascension Day, June 4 is Whit Sunday) and hotels will be booked full early.
